Pieve Santa Restituta, owned by Angelo Gaja, is recognized for Brunello di Montalcino that combines the finesse of the region with a modern winemaking approach.

Pieve Santa Restituta is Angelo Gaja's 16-hectare Tuscan estate in southwestern Montalcino, producing exclusively Sangiovese-based Brunello from limestone-rich vineyards at 320-350 meters elevation, with flagship single-vineyard Sugarille and multi-parcel Rennina bottlings. The Gaja family applies their meticulous standards through restricted yields and extended aging in predominantly large-format oak, balancing innovation with traditional methods while exceeding appellation requirements to create benchmark expressions that have elevated Montalcino's global reputation.
