Roagna is a fifth-generation family estate operating from their historic Barbaresco cantina, cultivating approximately 15 hectares across prestigious crus in both Barbaresco and Barolo, where they produce primarily Nebbiolo wines from calcareous marl soils with many 40+ year-old vines. Their distinctive traditional approach includes minimal intervention viticulture, extraordinarily long 60-90 day macerations, indigenous yeast fermentations in wooden vats, and extended aging in large Slavonian oak casks, maintaining methods that have defined their excellence for generations.
