Bodegas R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia is a historic winery in the Rioja region of Spain. Founded in 1877, the winery is known for producing traditional Rioja wines, including Tempranillo-based reds and Viura-based whites. With a focus on quality and tradition, the wines from R. López de Heredia are celebrated for their elegance, complexity, and ability to age.

Founded in 1877 and still family-owned, R. López de Heredia produces traditional Rioja wines from 170 hectares of vineyards in Haro's Barrio de la Estación, where their flagship Viña Tondonia vineyard's alluvial clay-limestone soils contribute structure to their Tempranillo-based reds and Viura whites. The bodega maintains centuries-old practices including native yeast fermentation in wooden vats, extended aging far beyond regulatory requirements in their 14,000-barrel underground cellars, and traditional vineyard management with horse plowing and manual harvesting, preserving authentic 19th-century Rioja winemaking methods.
