Castello dei Rampolla, set in Tuscany's Chianti Classico region, has been a pioneer of biodynamic farming, producing Super Tuscans like Sammarco and d'Alceo, noted for their depth and complexity.

Castello dei Rampolla is a family-owned estate in Chianti Classico's Conca d'Oro, farming 30 hectares of south-facing vineyards on limestone-clay soils, where they produce traditional Sangiovese wines alongside pioneering Super Tuscan blends like Sammarco and d'Alceo. As one of Italy's earliest biodynamic practitioners since 1994, they maintain a minimalist cellar approach with indigenous yeast fermentation in concrete tanks, thoughtful oak aging, and gravity-flow systems that reflect their three-generation commitment to sustainability and authentic terroir expression.
