Rare Champagne, previously known as Piper-Heidsieck's Rare, is a prestige cuvée known for its opulence and complexity, often released only in exceptional vintages.

Rare Champagne is an exclusive house in Champagne that produces only vintage prestige cuvées from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards, sourcing Chardonnay from the chalky soils of the Côte des Blancs and Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims. The house releases wines in only the most exceptional vintages (just twelve since 1976), aging them for 8-9 years on lees and presenting each bottle with a distinctive gold tiara designed by jeweler Arthus Bertrand.
