Situated in the Pomerol appellation on the right bank of Bordeaux, Château Pétrus is one of the wine world's most Iconic names. Although Pomerol lacks a formal classification system, Pétrus is near universally recognized as an unofficial First Growth estate. The vineyard is planted almost entirely with Merlot, with a very small percentage of Cabernet Franc.
