Château Ausone is an Iconic winery located in the Saint-Émilion region of Bordeaux, France. With historical roots possibly dating back to Roman times, it is renowned for producing some of the most elegant and long-lived wines in Bordeaux. Until 2022, Ausone was consistently classified as a Premier Grand Cru Classé A estate, the highest classification in Saint-Émilion. However, in 2022, Château Ausone withdrew from the Saint-Émilion classification system, choosing to stand apart while continuing its legacy of excellence.
