Château Angélus is a Legendary winery located in the Saint-Émilion region of Bordeaux, France. Renowned for producing high-quality, full-bodied wines primarily from Merlot and a significant proportion of Cabernet Franc, the estate has achieved acclaim for its exceptional terroir and meticulous winemaking practices. Until 2022, Angélus was consistently classified as a Premier Grand Cru Classé A estate, the highest classification in Saint-Émilion. However, in 2022, Château Angélus withdrew from the Saint-Émilion classification system, choosing to stand apart while continuing its legacy of excellence.
